The Eternal Quarterback: The "Always-Was" in the Huddle

The Eternal Quarterback

The "Always-Was" in the Huddle

A cinematic huddle on a misty field. A Christ-like quarterback with a glowing blue "headset" link to a celestial light stands among his teammates. He holds a glowing football while an overgrown scoreboard reads 0:00, with the floating text: "VICTORY SECURED ON DAY ONE." To the casual observer, he was just a man in the mud. But the Truth is deeper: He wasn't always A Quarterback—a title bestowed by the crowd. He was always THE Quarterback—the inherent, eternal conduit of the Father’s intent.
The Eternal Quarterback

The Eternal Quarterback: The Always-Was in the Huddle

He stands in the huddle with us, but His "headset" is in direct, bi-directional communication with the God of the Game. He hears the Voice, perfectly obeys the frequency, and hands the ball to us without a single condition.

In this "Earth School," He has completely redefined what it means to succeed. Our scoreboard is broken; His is perfect.

  • Winning when we "Lose": If a trial strips away the lie of separation and leaves us standing in unity with our brothers, the Quarterback sees a championship play. A "loss" that produces Sonship is a victory in the only league that matters.

  • Losing when we "Win": If we cross the goal line alone, fueled by ego and the illusion of self-importance, we have lost the lesson. A win for the "self" is a fumble for the Soul.

He doesn't judge the "fumble" of a human mistake. He knows our true ability, and He knows that the "heavy blitz" of life’s trials is actually the blessing of a strength-building exercise. He doesn't fear the sack, and because He is "quarterbacking" us, we don’t have to either.

Closing Thoughts: The Kosher Reality

The victory was never in doubt; our Eternal Sonship was issued on day one. Because the result is already secured, the pressure of the points is gone. The game is no longer a struggle for survival, but a beautiful ceremony where we learn to hear the Divine Voice through Him.

Fear Not. We aren't playing for the win; we’re playing because we’ve already won, and the Eternal Quarterback is just showing us how to run the victory lap.
